Fall 2019 Underclass Portrait Proofs Now Available!

Energy Institute High School Fall 2019 Portraits for grades 9-11 are now available for ordering on our order site. Please read below for important details:

PASSCODE

To access your student's portrait gallery, please enter youR online code by using your seven-digit STUDENT ID, followed by the code "F19." For example, the passcode for a student with the ID of 1234567 would be "1234567F19" and so on. Please enter this password and your email to log in to the gallery.

RETAKES

If you need a Yearbook portrait retake for any reason for you MUST submit a RETAKE REQUEST form to us by THURSDAY, DECEMBER 5TH at 5pm CST or else you will NOT be pulled for a retake. Please click here or below for the retake form. Retakes will be photographed on Friday, December 6th.

YEARBOOK POSE

Please select your YEARBOOK POSE by FRIDAY, December 6th; if no image is selected, we will choose one for you. On the bottom left of your gallery page, go to the red bar titled "Yearbook Selection" and choose the image you want to appear in the yearbook. Don't forget to hit the green "Save" button on the bottom right of the page to save your selection.

NOTE: Students should be familiar with their student identification number issued by the school. Please ask your child, or contact us immediately to get the student ID.

ORDER DEADLINE

Orders received BEFORE MONDAY, DECEMBER 9th will be delivered to the school free of charge. Anything received after that date will ship to you directly, and additional shipping fees will apply.

I am a 2020 Senior

What To Expect

So here's the drill...please take note of the following:

Headshots on a Neutral Backdrop

Fall Portraits are head shots for students and staff on a grey backdrop! The look is clean and modern, and put the focus on the student and not the background.

All Energy Institute students will be photographed in school-appropriate Free-Dress. Please make sure your student is well-groomed and camera ready, we'll take care of the rest!!

Hair & Grooming

We make it a point to help fine-tune hair (smoothing fly-aways, fighting the effects of humidity) before taking their picture, so please have your student bring any hair grooming implements they need for final touches before they're in front of our camera.

For long-haired girls, we suggest wearing hair down, as ponytails and braids do not photograph as well as loose hair, and tend to get messy throughout the day. Hair bows and accessories should be smaller in size as to not distract from your student's face.

Remind them to brush their teeth, too!

Smile Please!

At Lot Five Studios we try our hardest to get the very best and natural smiles out of each and every student. We take our time to make everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera.

However, despite our best efforts, sometimes they are resistent, or just plain not willing to work with us. Maybe you can help? Please, help us help you get a great photo of your student by asking them to smile and relax, we appreciate it!

Proofing Online

About 3 - 4 weeks after Picture Day, your student's Fall Portraits will be uploaded to our website in a password-protected gallery for viewing and ordering.

Proofing information will be sent through the school, but our Newsletter Subscribers will get notified first!

Make Ups and Retakes

At Lot Five Studios, your satisfaction is always our goal. If your child missed their picture day, or you'd like to get a retake for any reason, your students can come back any day we are on campus--November 12th and 13th.

Please make sure to remind your student if they need to make up or retake their photo, and send us a retake request by clicking the above photo to tell us how we can do better.

What About Seniors?

Seniors will NOT be photographed during Fall Picture Days. All senior yearbook photos will be taken during the Senior Portrait Events held for your school. To learn more about the Senior Portrait Events, click below!

Everything You Need to Know About Fall Portraits

1. We photograph your child on their Fall Portrait Day during their Study Skills class.

2. Give us about 3-4 weeks to process the images and get them ready for viewing.

3. When the images are uploaded and ready to go, we will send information flyer to the school, telling parents how to access their child's gallery with ordering instructions. If you are a newsletter subscriber, you get to know before everyone else does (perks, yay!).

4. Place an order by the deadline date to have your order delivered to the school for free. On-time orders will be distributed through the teachers.

5. If you missed the deadline, don't worry--your images will still be available for purchase, however you will have to pay a shipping fee and your order will be sent directly to you.

Cool Stuff, New Stuff

Shopping early for the holidays? We've got some cool stuff for your office or the Grandparents gifts this fall as well as (drumroll, please) Digital Downloads! Yep, that's right. Check out our ordering site when it opens for more information on new items.

A Few Final Notes:

RETAKES will be offered for Fall Portraits at a later date. To recieve notices regarding fall pictures and retakes, sign up for the EIHS School Picture Newsletter below! If your child has already been photographed, the new image will be uploaded in to the same gallery as their original photos within 3 weeks of the retake date. Your retake order may may incur additional shipping fees.

Ordering Online. It's our thing. There will be cut-off date for orders to be delivered free to the school, so please keep your eyes peeled for deadlines. After the deadline, you can still order, but you will have to pay a shipping fee, and we don't offer as many cool packages or products as the ones we deliver to the school. Please expect up to 6 weeks after deadline for order delivery.

Your Kid is a Star. We'd Love to use Your Child's Photo! At Lot Five Studios, we are always looking for smiling students to use as our models. If you are interested in allowing your child's school photo to serve as one of the faces for our school-specific marketing pieces, please make sure to read the info at the end of your online order before checkout. If you do not wish for your child's image to be used, please read the info and let us know. Don't worry, we never use any identifying information about your children--just their awesome image.

Family Portraits, Headshots and Other Good Stuff.
