To access your student's portrait gallery, please enter your online code, which is:

First FIVE letters of the student's LAST NAME
followed by the First FIVE letters of the student's FIRST NAME
Followed by the code S24.

For example, Benjamin Anderson would be AnderBenjaS24.

What To Expect

So here's the drill...please take note of the following:

Backdrop Color: Student's Choice!

--Photo backdrops are simple, colorful, and modern.

--Your child will choose the color of backdrop. We DO NOT choose for them.

--We do NOT use fake backdrops or Green Screen!

--Once your student is photographed on a certain color, we CANNOT change it.

--Sorry, NO RETAKES are offered for Spring Portraits.

What To Wear

--Spring Picture wardrobe is school-appropriate Free Dress only on your scheduled day.

--Dress in something fresh, fun, and stylish. NO COSTUMES PLEASE!

--Sweaters/Jackets...on or off? Please tell your kids to let us know what you want!

--We do NOT photograph shoes! Pictures are 3/4 length, which means from the knees up.

Hair & Grooming

--Please tell your child how their hair should look so we can help them groom hair!

--HAIR: long hair is best worn down; ponytails get messy.

--NO HATS PLEASE (unless it is part of the outfit; eg. western hats, etc.)

Smile, Please!

--We are on campus for 3 days. If your child is absent, has to leave early, or if you forget to dress them, please send them back dressed and ready on the other day if possible!

--Please help us help you get a great photo of your child by asking your student to smile and comply, we appreciate it!

--There are NO RETAKES for Spring Pictures.

What you need to know about Proofing

1. We photograph your child on their Spring Picture Day. See the schedule and check with your teacher as well.

2. If they were absent or if you forgot to send them in free-dress, please send them the following day and we will photograph them. Reminder: there are no retakes for Spring Pictures.

3. Give us a few weeks to process the images and get them ready for viewing, usually about 3-5 weeks for larger schools.

4. When the images are uploaded and ready to go, the school will post information on our behalf, letting parents know how to access their child's gallery for viewing and ordering. Reminder: there are no retakes for Spring Pictures. If you are a newsletter subscriber, you get to know before everyone else does (perks, yay!).

5. Place an order by the deadline date to have your order delivered to the school for free. Orders will be distributed to the teachers.

6. If you missed the deadline, don't worry--your images will still be available for purchase, however, you will have to pay a shipping fee so it will be sent directly to you.

Meet Your School Photographers

Hello Oak Forest Families! We are Lot Five Studios--a small, local photography company based in Garden Oaks and Oak Forest with more than 13 years of experience photographing children in our neighborhood schools.

Our approach is to connect with your student to get natural smiles and laughs, all while documenting their growth through school photos. We are determined to bring you beautiful photography in a fresh, modern style while helping your child gain self-confidence in front of our cameras.

We are moms who live and work in the area, so don't be surprised if you (or your children) spot us at Kroger or Starbucks on 43rd! We are super excited to be part of your community and can't wait to meet you! See you soon, Bobcats!

A Few Final Notes:

NO RETAKES will be offered for Spring Pictures as this program is done as an additional service to the families of OFE. If your child misses their scheduled day, or forgot to wear free dress, PLEASE send them back to be photographed again the following day, if possible. Thanks for your understanding.

Ordering Online. It's our thing. There will be cut-off date for orders to be delivered to the school, so please keep your eyes peeled for deadlines. After deadlines, you can still order, but you will have to pay a shipping fee, and we don't offer as many cool packages or products as the ones we deliver to the school. Please expect up to 6 weeks after deadline for order delivery.

Your Kid is a Star. We'd love to use your child's photo! At Lot Five Studios, we are always looking for smiling students to use as our models. If you are interested in allowing your child's school photo to serve as one of the faces for our school-specific marketing pieces, please make sure to read the info at the end of your online order before checkout. If you do not wish for your child's image to be used, please read the info and let us know. Don't worry, we never use any identifying information about your children--just their awesome image.
