Student Portraits Are Ready to View!

Oak Forest Elementary Fall 2022 Student Portraits and Class Pictures are now available for viewing and ordering on our site. Please read below to find out more, then click the button to visit the order site.

ONLINE CODE

To access your student's portrait gallery, please enter your online code which is your STUDENT ID, followed by the code "F22." For example, if the student ID is 1234567, then the online passcode would be 1234567F22. Please enter this passcode and your email to log in to the gallery. This email is where order receipts and/or digital downloads are sent.

NOTE: Students should know their student identification number issued by the school. Please ask your student, or contact us for photo gallery access.

ORDER DEADLINE

All ORDERS ARE DUE ON FRIDAY, JANUARY 20TH for free delivery to the school. Any orders submitted after this date will be sent directly to your home, and are subject to additional shipping fees.

What To Expect

So here's the drill...please take note of the following:

Head Shots in School Uniform

Fall Portraits are head shots for students and staff on a grey backdrop! The look is clean and modern. Sorry, no cheesy green-screen backdrops here!

All Oak Forest Elementary students will be photographed in SCHOOL UNIFORM. Photos are best photographed in a green, white or navy POLO SHIRT! Please do not wear school t-shirts with large logos. Make sure your student is well-groomed and camera ready, we'll take care of the rest!

Class Pictures

Class Picture Day is back! Group photos will take place separately from individual portraits. Dates for Class Pictures are DEC. 6th & 7th--please keep an eye out for notifications from your school.

Proofing Online

About 3-5 weeks after Picture Day, your child's Fall Portraits will be uploaded to our website in a password-protected gallery for viewing and ordering.

Proofing information will be sent through the school, but our Newsletter Subscribers will get notified first!

OFE Picture News

Hair and Grooming

Back before Covid, we did our best to clean the faces of little ones, and ask the big ones how their hair is supposed to look. Now we do touch-free grooming which is basically helping your child groom themselves for their photos. Please prompt your child on what to do with their hair when they're in front of our camera.
For long-hair, we suggest wearing it down, as ponytails and braids do not photograph as well as loose hair, and tend to get messy throughout the day. Please be aware that curls do not normally stay all day, especially when your child's picture time is at the end of the day. Hair bows and accessories should be small in size as to not distract from your student's face.

Make Ups & Retakes

At Lot Five Studios, your satisfaction is always our goal. If your child missed their picture day, or you'd like to get a retake for any reason, your student can come back on TUESDAY, DECEMBER 6th.

Please make sure to let your child's teacher know that they need a make up or retake photo, and send us a retake request by clicking the button below to tell us how we can do better.

Everything You Need to Know About Fall Portraits

1. We photograph your child on their Fall Portrait Day (see schedule, coming soon).

2. If they were absent or if you forgot to send them in uniform on their scheduled Picture Day, please send them in SCHOOL UNIFORM any day we are on campus (10/18 - 10/20) and we will photograph them. Reminder: retakes for Fall Portraits are December 6th only.

3. Give us about 3-5 weeks to process the images and get them ready for viewing.

4. When the images are uploaded and ready to go, we will send information to the school, telling parents how to access their child's gallery with ordering instructions. If you are a newsletter subscriber, you get to know before everyone else does (perks, yay!).

5. Place an order by the deadline date to have your order delivered to the school for free. On-time orders will be distributed through the teachers.

6. If you missed the deadline, don't worry--your images will still be available for purchase, however you will have to pay a shipping fee and your order will be sent directly to you.

New to Lot Five Studios? We do things a little differently than other school picture companies. We believe in online proofing and ordering. OMG, yay! No more squashed order forms or losing your payment in the black hole of your child's backpack! No more wondering how their photos came out.

A few final notes:

RETAKES will be offered for Fall Portraits on a Tuesday, December 6th. If your child has already been photographed, the new image will be uploaded in to the same gallery as their original photos within 3 weeks of the Retake date. Your retake order may may incur additional shipping fees.

Ordering Online. It's our thing. There will be cut-off date for orders to be delivered free to the school, so please keep your eyes peeled for deadlines. After the deadline, you can still order, but you will have to pay a shipping fee, and we don't offer as many cool packages or products as the ones we deliver to the school. Please expect up to 6 weeks after deadline for order delivery.

Your Kid is a Star. We'd love to use your child's photo! At Lot Five Studios, we are always looking for smiling students to use as our models. If you are interested in allowing your child's school photo to serve as one of the faces for our school-specific marketing pieces, please make sure to read the info at the end of your online order before checkout. If you do not wish for your child's image to be used, please read the info and let us know. Don't worry, we never use any identifying information about your children--just their awesome image.
