It's Picture Day!

We know the school year just started, but what a perfect time for photos! Fall Portraits are coming soon. Lot Five Studios is super excited to return to St. Rose of Lima for School Picture Days. We bring out your child's true smile in our modern school portraits. Check out the info below to see what's in store for you and your student.

What To Expect

So here's the drill...please take note of the following:

Headshots in Mass Uniforms

Fall Portraits are headshots for students and staff on a grey backdrop! The look is clean and modern and focuses on your child and not the background.

All St. Rose of Lima students in grades PreK3 through 8th will be photographed in mass uniforms. Please make sure your student is well-groomed and camera-ready!

Hair & Grooming

We make it a point to help clean faces and fine-tune hair before we take your child's picture (like smoothing fly-aways, fixing headbands, etc.). Please your child to bring any hair grooming items they might need for final touches before they're in front of our camera.

For long-haired girls, we suggest wearing hair down, since ponytails and buns tend to get messy throughout the day. Hair bows should be small so as not to distract from the face. And don't forget to ask your kids to brush their teeth!

Make Ups and Retakes

At Lot Five Studios, your satisfaction is always our goal. If your child missed their picture day, or you'd like them to get a retake for any reason, please sign up for Retake Day on--October 15, 2026.

Please send us a retake request by clicking the button below. This will ensure that your child will get pulled from class, and it will also let us know how we can do better and improve your Yearbook photo.

NOTE: NEW and ABSENT students will be pulled automatically--please do not sign up for retakes if your child is new or was absent.

Online Proofing

About 2 weeks after Picture Day, your child's Fall Portraits will be uploaded to our website in a password-protected gallery for viewing and ordering.

Proofing information will be sent via email or through the school, but our Newsletter Subscribers will get notified first!

Class Pictures

Group/Class photos will be photographed on the same day as individual portraits and will be posted in your student's portrait gallery. Please note, if your child misses the group photo, they will NOT be added in later.

Recap: How It Works

1. We photograph students on Fall Picture Days--8/13 and 8/27.

2. Give us about 2-3 weeks to process the images and get them ready for viewing.

3. When the images are uploaded and ready to go, we will send information to the school telling students and parents how to access their student galleries, including passcodes and ordering instructions. If you are a newsletter subscriber, you get to know before everyone else does (perks, yay!).

4. Request a retake if you are unsatisfied with your image--Retake day is October 15.

5. Place an order by the deadline date, please. Orders will be delivered to the school.

6. If you missed the ordering deadline, don't worry--your images will still be available for purchase; however, you will have to pay a shipping fee, and your order will be sent directly to you.

Hello SRL Families! We are Lot Five Studios--a small, local photography company based in Garden Oaks and Oak Forest with more than 15 years of experience photographing children in our neighborhood schools (13 of those at St. Rose).

Our approach is to connect with your student to get natural smiles and laughs, all while documenting their growth through school photos. We are determined to bring you beautiful photography in a fresh, modern style while helping your child gain self-confidence and be at ease in front of a camera.

We're local moms whose kids who went to SRL ECC, GOMM, Durham, FBMS and Energy, HSPVA and Heights high schools; St. Rose is our parish too. We live and work in the area, so don't be surprised if you spot us at Kroger or Starbucks on 43rd or if your kids recognize and greet us.
