Student Portraits are Now Available to View!

Thanks for your patience! Garden Oaks Montessori Fall 2022 Portraits are now available for ordering on our site. Please read below to find out more, then click the button to go to the order site.

ONLINE CODE

To access your student's portrait gallery, please enter your online code which is your STUDENT ID, followed by the code "F22." For example, if the student ID is 1234567, then the online passcode would be 1234567F22. Please enter this passcode and your email to log in to the gallery. This email is where order receipts and/or digital downloads are sent.

NOTE: Students should know their student identification number issued by the school. Some kids know this as their "S-number" which they use to log into school apps with. Please ask your student, or contact us for photo gallery access.

If you do not know your student's HISD-issued student identification number, it can be found on a report card. You can contact the school to ask, or send us a password request and we'll be happy to help you out.

RETAKE & ABSENTEE/NEW STUDENT MAKE UP

Due to damage from a recent fire at our studio, Retake Day is TO BE DETERMINED. If your student was absent or you are unhappy with your child's pictures, please find the retake button below and sign up so we may pull your student from class on Retake Day, when it is scheduled.

If you've ordered a digital download, please note that this item is sent to you via email immediately after completing your order. Please enter your email address correctly when logging into your student's gallery. After ordering a digital download, please check your junk/spam folder for the emailed file. Please contact us if you have any trouble.

What To Expect

So here's the drill...please take note of the following:

Head Shots in School Uniform

Fall Portraits are head shots for students and staff on a grey backdrop! The look is clean and modern. Sorry, no cheesy green-screen backdrops here!

All Garden Oaks students will be photographed in SCHOOL UNIFORM. We suggest a red, white or navy polo shirt. Please make sure your student is well-groomed and camera ready, we'll take care of the rest!

Hair & Grooming

Prior to picture time, we help your child groom themselves for their photos. Please prompt your child on what to do with their hair when they're in front of our camera.

For long-hair, we suggest wearing it down, as ponytails and braids can look messy throughout the day. Hair bows and accessories should be small in size as to not distract from your student's face.

Proofing Online

About 3 weeks after Picture Day, your child's Fall Portraits will be uploaded to our website in a password-protected gallery for viewing and ordering.

Proofing information will be sent through the school, but our Newsletter Subscribers will get notified first!

Make Ups and Retakes

At Lot Five Studios, your satisfaction is always our goal. If your child missed their picture day, or you'd like to get a retake for any reason, your students can come back any day we are on campus--Nov 9th through 11th. We will also be back on DATE TO BE DETERMINED for Retake Day.

Please make sure to let your child's teacher know that they need a make up or retake photo, and send us a retake request by clicking the above photo to tell us how we can do better.

Retake Sign-Up

Everything You Need to Know About Fall Portraits

1. We photograph your child on their Fall Portrait Day (see schedule).

2. If they were absent, please send them to the gym in a school appropriate clothing any day we are on campus (11/9-11/11) and we will photograph them. If you forgot to send them in a nice outfit on their scheduled Picture Day, please send them back the next day. Reminder: retakes for Fall Portraits are DATE TO BE DETERMINED.

3. Give us about 3-5 weeks to process the images and get them ready for viewing.

4. When the images are uploaded and ready to go, we will send information to the school, telling parents how to access their child's gallery with ordering instructions. If you are a newsletter subscriber, you get to know before everyone else does (perks, yay!).

5. Place an order by the deadline date to have your order delivered to the school for free. On-time orders will be distributed through the teachers.

6. If you missed the deadline, don't worry--your images will still be available for purchase, however you will have to pay a shipping fee and your order will be sent directly to you.

Hassle-free Online Proofing & Ordering

New to Lot Five Studios? We do things a little differently than other school picture companies. We believe in online proofing and ordering. OMG, yay! No more squashed order forms or losing your payment in the black hole of your child's backpack! No more wondering how their photos came out.

Get online and SEE your portraits; pick your favorites!
Don't miss another picture order! Pay via credit card to ensure that we got your order and get receipts via email instead of misplacing the order form.
No more pressure from family! Email the Grandparents their link so they can get their own copies!
All orders submitted by the deadline get delivered back to the school at no additional cost to you. Win-win.

Cool Stuff, New Stuff

Shopping early for the holidays? We've got some cool stuff for your office or the Grandparents gifts this fall as well as (drumroll, please) Digital Downloads! Yep, that's right. Check out our ordering site when it opens for more information on new items.

A Few Final Notes:

RETAKES will be offered for Fall Portraits only from DATE TO BE DETERMINED. If your child has already been photographed, the new image will be uploaded in to the same gallery as their original photos within 3 weeks of the retake date. Your retake order may may incur additional shipping fees.

Ordering Online. It's our thing. There will be cut-off date for orders to be delivered free to the school, so please keep your eyes peeled for deadlines. After the deadline, you can still order, but you will have to pay a shipping fee, and we don't offer as many cool packages or products as the ones we deliver to the school. Please expect up to 6 weeks after deadline for order delivery.

Your Kid is a Star. We'd Love to use Your Child's Photo! At Lot Five Studios, we are always looking for smiling students to use as our models. If you are interested in allowing your child's school photo to serve as one of the faces for our school-specific marketing pieces, please make sure to read the info at the end of your online order before checkout. If you do not wish for your child's image to be used, please read the info and let us know. Don't worry, we never use any identifying information about your children--just their awesome image.

Family Portraits, Headshots and Other Good Stuff. If you are in need of family portraits, corporate headshots, sports portraits, or Senior photos, please subscribe to our newsletter below or request a session! We offer quick and modern photography sessions during our "Open Studio Days" in our nearby studio, located in the Arts District off Sawyer and I-10.
