What To Expect

So here's the drill...please take note of the following:

Headshots on a Neutral Backdrop

Fall Portraits are head shots for students and staff on a grey backdrop! The look is clean and modern, and puts the focus on the student and not the background.

All FBMS students will be photographed in school-appropriate attire. Choose from free-dress or a red, grey, or black polo shirt or spirit shirt! Please make sure you are groomed and camera ready, we'll take care of the rest!!

Hair & Grooming

We do minimal grooming and help your student groom themselves for their photos. Please prompt your child on what to do with their hair when they're in front of our camera.

For long-haired girls, we suggest wearing hair down, as ponytails and braids do not photograph as well as loose hair, and tend to get messy throughout the day. Hair bows and accessories should be small in size as to not distract from your student's face. And don't forget to brush teeth!

Online Galleries

About 2 - 4 weeks after Picture Day, your portraits will be uploaded to our website in a password-protected gallery for viewing and ordering.

Passcodes and proofing information will be sent through the school, but our Newsletter Subscribers will get notified first!

Make Ups and Retakes

At Lot Five Studios, your satisfaction is our top priority. If you missed your picture day, or you'd like to get a retake for any reason, please come back the next time we are on campus--RETAKES and MAKEUPS WILL BE January 23.

Please send us a retake request by clicking the button below. This will ensure that retake students are pulled from class, and it will also allow us to identify areas for improvement in the Yearbook photo.

Remember when they were so tiny and cute? And you forgot to order their portraits? We get it, you were busy. If we took their picture, we've got your back. One less thing for them to roll their eyes at you for!

If you are in need of family portraits, corporate headshots, sports portraits, or Senior photos, please subscribe to our newsletter below or request a session! We offer quick and modern photography sessions during our "Open Studio Days" in our nearby studio in Oak Forest.

Private Portrait Sessions

How It Works

1. We photograph students, faculty, and staff on Fall Picture Days-- October 21, 22, 23.

2. If you miss your picture day, please come to us any time we are on campus, and we will work you in!

3. Give us about 2-4 weeks to process the images and prepare them for viewing.

4. When the images are uploaded and ready to go, we will send information to the school informing students and parents on how to access their student galleries, passcodes, and ordering instructions. If you are a newsletter subscriber, you get to know before everyone else does (perks, yay!).

5. Log in and check out your images! Or request a retake if you are unsatisfied with your photo; RETAKES are January 23. Place an order by the deadline date to have your order shipped directly to you--no more squished photos in your kid's backpack!

Meet Your School Photographers

Hello FBMS Families! We are Lot Five Studios--a small, local photography company based in Garden Oaks and Oak Forest with more than 15 years of experience photographing children in our neighborhood schools. We are former FBMS parents ourselves!

Our approach is to connect with your student to get natural smiles and laughs, all while documenting their growth through school photos. We are determined to bring you beautiful photography in a fresh, modern style while helping your child gain self-confidence and be at ease in front of a camera.

We're local moms whose kids went to SRL ECC, GOMM, Durham, FBMS and Energy, HSPVA, and Heights. We live and work in the area, so don't be surprised if you spot us at Kroger or Starbucks on 43rd or if your kids recognize and greet us. We are super excited to be part of your community again and can't wait to reconnect with you! See you soon, Panthers!
