2023-24 Student Portraits Are Ready to View!

Frank Black Middle School 2023-24 Student Portraits are now available for viewing and ordering on our site. Please read below to find out more, then click the button to visit the order site.

ONLINE CODE

To access your student's portrait gallery, please enter your online code which is your STUDENT ID. Just that this year, nothing else.

Please enter this passcode and your email to log in to the gallery. This email is where order receipts and/or digital downloads are sent.

NOTE: Students should know their student identification number issued by the school. Please ask your student for their Student ID number, or contact us for photo gallery access.

ORDER DELIVERY TO SCHOOL OR SHIP TO HOME

This year you have a choice of free shipping to the school or to your home for a $6 delivery fee. Please select your preference at check-out.

Digital Download orders will be delivered immediately via email--check your spam or junk folder. For delivery, please allow up to 2 weeks for delivery of physical products via the US Postal Service after the order deadline. Contact us if you need tracking information or more details.

ORDER DEADLINE

Orders are DUE NOVEMBER 20th for delivery to school. Any orders received after this date will be auto-shipped from our lab. Product offerings change after this deadline, so please order as soon as you can!

RETAKES

Retake Day is on -- DATE YET TO BE DETERMINED. If your child was absent or new to the school before picture day, we will pull your student automatically to get photographed.

If you don't like your child's images and want a retake, you must sign up for retakes. Retakes will be delivered to the original galleries and new images will be labeled with "RE" for "retake" when images are processed, usually about 3 weeks after the retake date.

What To Expect

So here's the drill...please take note of the following:

Headshots on a Neutral Backdrop

Fall Portraits are head shots for students and staff on a grey backdrop! The look is clean and modern, and puts the focus on the student and not the background.

All FBMS students will be photographed in school-appropriate attire. Choose from free-dress or a red, grey, or black polo shirt or spirit shirt! Please make sure you are groomed and camera ready, we'll take care of the rest!!

Hair & Grooming

We do minimal grooming and help your student groom themselves for their photos. Please prompt your child on what to do with their hair when they're in front of our camera.

For long-haired girls, we suggest wearing hair down, as ponytails and braids do not photograph as well as loose hair, and tend to get messy throughout the day. Hair bows and accessories should be small in size as to not distract from your student's face. And don't forget to brush teeth!

Online Galleries

About 2 - 4 weeks after Picture Day, your portraits will be uploaded to our website in a password-protected gallery for viewing and ordering.

Passcodes and proofing information will be sent through the school, but our Newsletter Subscribers will get notified first!

Make Ups and Retakes

At Lot Five Studios, your satisfaction is always our goal. If you missed your picture day, or you'd like to get a retake for any reason, please come back the next time we are on campus--DATE TO BE DETERMINED.

Please send us a retake request by clicking the button below. This will ensure that retake students will be pulled from class, and it will also let us know how we can improve your Yearbook photo.

Already Photographed at Panther Camp?

If we already photographed your child during Panther Camp, they are NOT required to have their photo taken again, unless preferred.

Images shot at Panther Camp are currently being used for your child's student ID badges, and will also be used for their yearbook picture. Please discuss this with your 6th Grader before their picture day.

To view your child's picture and decide if you want a new retake image, click the button below and enter your email and the Student ID as your online code. To ensure your child gets a new photo, please sign up for a retake.

How It Works

1. We photograph students, faculty, and staff on Fall Picture Days-- September 27th, 28th & 29th.

2. If you miss your picture day, please come to us any time we are on campus, and we will work you in!

3. Give us about 2-4 weeks to process the images and prepare them for viewing.

4. When the images are uploaded and ready to go, we will send information to the school informing students and parents on how to access their student galleries, passcodes, and ordering instructions. If you are a newsletter subscriber, you get to know before everyone else does (perks, yay!).

5. Log in and check out your images! Or request a retake if you are unsatisfied with your photo; RETAKES are on a DATE TO BE DETERMINED.

6. Place an order by the deadline date to have your order shipped directly to you--no more squished photos in your kid's backpack!

A Few Final Notes:

RETAKES will be offered for Fall Portraits on a date to be determined. To receive notices regarding fall pictures and retakes, sign up for the FBMS School Picture Newsletter below! If you have already been photographed, the new image will be uploaded into the same gallery as your original photos within 3 weeks of the retake date. Your retake order may incur additional shipping fees.

Product Delivery. Orders placed before deadline time will be delivered to the school. All orders after the order deadline will be delivered directly to your home and not the school. Order deadline date is to be determined.

You are a Star. We'd love to use your photo! At Lot Five Studios, we always look for smiling students to use as models. If you are interested in allowing your school photo to serve as one of the faces for our school-specific marketing pieces, please make sure to read the info at the end of your online order before checkout. If you are under 18, please ask your parents. If you do not wish for your image to be used, please read the info and let us know. Don't worry; we never use any identifying information about students--just your awesome image.

Family Portraits, Headshots and Other Good Stuff. If you need family portraits, corporate headshots, sports portraits, or Senior photos, please subscribe to our newsletter below or request a session! We offer quick and modern photography sessions during our "Open Studio Days" in our nearby studio in the Oak Forest area.
