Student Portraits Are Ready to View!

Frank Black Middle School 2022-2023 Student Portraits are now available for viewing and ordering on our site. Please read below to find out more, then click the button to visit the order site.

ONLINE CODE To access your student's portrait gallery, please enter your online code which is your
STUDENT ID, followed by the code "F22."  For example, if the student ID is 1234567, then the online passcode would be 1234567F22
. Please enter this passcode and your email to log in to the gallery. This email is where order receipts and/or digital downloads are sent.
NOTE: Students should know their student identification number issued by the school. Please ask your student, or contact us for photo gallery access.

ORDER DELIVERY & FREE SHIPPING All orders will be shipped to your home directly from our lab. They will NOT be delivered to the school. Digital Download orders will be delivered immediately via email--check your spam or junk folder.

For free shipping please use the code 22FBMS23 on orders totaling more than $32.
For delivery, please allow up to 2 weeks for delivery of physical products via the US Postal Service.

RETAKES Should you choose to get photographed again because you don't like your images, you must sign up for retakes. Once retake request is completed, we will add you to our list, and pull your student from class on Retake Day--DATE TO BE DETERMINED!
Retakes will be delivered to the original galleries and new images will be labeled with "RE" for "retake" when images are processed, usually about 3 weeks after the retake date.

LOOKING FOR A SPECIFIC PRODUCT? We still carry all of the gift items you are used to seeing at the elementary school level, including coffee mugs, acrylic blocks, etc. However, because your school does direct shipping with us, not school delivery, we don't typically offer those products. But if you really want them, just contact us and we can get you what you need.

DIGITAL DOWNLOAD HELP If you've ordered a digital download, please note that this item is sent via EMAIL immediately after completing your order. Please enter your email address correctly when logging into your student's gallery. After ordering a digital download, please CHECK YOUR JUNK/SPAM folder for the emailed file. What To Expect

So here's the drill...please take note of the following:

Headshots on a Neutral Backdrop

Fall Portraits are head shots for students and staff on a grey backdrop! The look is clean and modern, and put the focus on the student and not the background.

All FBMS students will be photographed in school-appropriate attire. Choose from free-dress or a red, grey, or black polo shirt or spirit shirt! Please make sure you are groomed and camera ready, we'll take care of the rest!!

Hair & Grooming

In this time of Covid, we do touch-free grooming which is basically helping your student groom themselves for their photos. Please prompt your child on what to do with their hair when they're in front of our camera.

For long-haired girls, we suggest wearing hair down, as ponytails and braids do not photograph as well as loose hair, and tend to get messy throughout the day. Hair bows and accessories should be small in size as to not distract from your student's face. And don't forget to brush your teeth!

Online Galleries

About 2 - 4 weeks after Picture Day, your portraits will be uploaded to our website in a password-protected gallery for viewing and ordering.

Passcodes and proofing information will be sent through the school, but our Newsletter Subscribers will get notified first!

Make Ups and Retakes

At Lot Five Studios, your satisfaction is always our goal. If you missed your picture day, or you'd like to get a retake for any reason, please come back the next time we are on campus--DATE TO BE DETERMINED.

How We Work

Everything You Need to Know About Student Portraits

1. We photograph students, faculty, and staff on Fall Picture Days--September 13th for 6th grade; September 27th & 28th for 7th graders and 8th graders.

2. If you miss your picture daytime, please come to us any time we are on campus, and we will work you in!

3. Give us about 2-4 weeks to process the images and prepare them for viewing.

4. When the images are uploaded and ready to go, we will send information to the school informing students and parents on how to access their student galleries, passcodes, and ordering instructions. If you are a newsletter subscriber, you get to know before everyone else does (perks, yay!).

5. Log in and check out your images! Or request a retake if you are unsatisfied with your photo; RETAKES are on DATE TO BE DETERMINED.

6. Place an order by the deadline date to have your order shipped directly to you--no more squished photos in your kid's backpack!

A Few Final Notes:

RETAKES will be offered for Fall Portraits on a date to be determined. To receive notices regarding fall pictures and retakes, sign up for the FBMS School Picture Newsletter below! If you have already been photographed, the new image will be uploaded into the same gallery as your original photos within 3 weeks of the retake date. Your retake order may incur additional shipping fees.

Product Delivery. All orders will be delivered directly to your home and not the school.

You are a Star. We'd love to use your photo! At Lot Five Studios, we always look for smiling students to use as models. If you are interested in allowing your school photo to serve as one of the faces for our school-specific marketing pieces, please make sure to read the info at the end of your online order before checkout. If you are under 18, please ask your parents. If you do not wish for your image to be used, please read the info and let us know. Don't worry; we never use any identifying information about students--just your awesome image.

Family Portraits, Headshots and Other Good Stuff. If you need family portraits, corporate headshots, sports portraits, or Senior photos, please subscribe to our newsletter below or request a session! We offer quick and modern photography sessions during our "Open Studio Days" in our nearby studio in the Arts District off Sawyer and I-10.
