Appointments are optional this year! We will be on the EIHS campus January 7th & 8th, to photograph all seniors for the yearbook. No appointment is necessary for this portrait sitting.

You do need an appointment if you would like more portraits other than the yearbook pose, or if you were absent while we were on campus.

The yearbook pose is the only pose being photographed on campus, so if you need portraits made without graduation attire or additional cap and gown poses, an appointment is required.

Yearbook pose is photographed with the graduation cap on, hands not showing, in cap and gown regalia including NHS stole if eligible.

Not a problem! Lot Five Studios is now proud to provide Cap & Gown only sessions on campus.

Not at all! Our studio has special photography caps and gowns for your use in the studio, and any additional regalia that your school has provided for their commencement attire.

We have collars and ties for seniors that would like to wear them in their cap and gown photos. 

You are welcome to bring your own collared shirt to wear under the graduation gown. Please make sure it is clean and pressed, and able to button up to the top button around your neck.

You may bring your own tie, as well, but it is not required- we have ties to choose from in the studio for your use.

You're not alone! Fortunately, we have years of experience fitting seniors in caps for photos, and we will work with you to fit your graduation cap appropriately.

We recommend that seniors avoid top-knot and high ponytail styles, as they will affect the way the cap will be seated on the head.

We recommend longer hair be styled down and shorter layers styled away from the face to prevent unwanted shadows. Bangs that normally cover or obscure the eyes don't photograph as well as layers that are styled above or away from the eyes.

Hairstyles shorter than ear length will most likely be hidden by the fit of the cap.

For seniors who normally wear their hair in a patka, we recommend wearing or bringing a turban or head wrap of a more formal nature for the cap and gown photos.

At this time, only the students being photographed and Lot Five Studios staff are permitted in the camera room during sessions.  If we have any questions that need parent input, we are happy to have them lean in, but ask that they remain in the studio hallway otherwise.
