CVHS 9th - 11th Grade Proofs are Ready to View!

Carnegie Vanguard High School 2022-2023 Student Portraits are now available for viewing and ordering on our site. Please read below to find out more, then click the button to visit the order site.

ONLINE CODE

To access your student's portrait gallery, please enter your online code which is your STUDENT ID, followed by the code "F22." For example, if the student ID is 1234567, then the online passcode would be 1234567F22. Please enter this passcode and your email to log in to the gallery. This email is where order receipts and/or digital downloads are sent.

NOTE: Students should know their student identification number issued by the school. Please ask your student, or contact us for photo gallery access.

ORDER DELIVERY & FREE SHIPPING

All orders will be shipped to your home directly from our lab. They will NOT be delivered to the school. Digital Download orders will be delivered immediately via email--check your spam or junk folder.

For free shipping please use the code 22CVHS23 on orders totaling more than $28.

For delivery, please allow up 2 weeks for delivery of physical products via the US Postal Service. Contact us if you need tracking information or more details.

YEARBOOK POSE SELECTION

Please select your YEARBOOK POSE by MONDAY, OCTOBER 31st; if no image is selected, we will choose one for you.

HOW??? On the bottom left of your gallery page, go to the red bar titled "Yearbook Selection" and choose the image you want to appear in the yearbook. Don't forget to hit the green "Save" button on the bottom right of the page to save your selection. Don't like your picture? No problem! Read about retakes below.

RETAKES

Should you choose to get photographed again because you don't like your images, you must sign up for retakes and pay a $5 retake fee. Once payment is completed, we will add you to our list, and pull you from class on Retake Day--NOVEMBER 2nd!

Retakes will be delivered into the original galleries and new images will be labeled with "RE" for "retake" when images are processed, in about 3 weeks.

What To Expect

So here's the drill...please take note of the following:

Headshots on a Neutral Backdrop

Fall Portraits are head shots for students and staff on a grey backdrop! The look is clean and modern, and put the focus on the student and not the background.

All CVHS students will be photographed in school-appropriate attire. No hats, please! Please make sure you are groomed and camera ready, we'll take care of the rest!!

Hair & Grooming

No hats, please! We make it a point to help fine-tune hair (smoothing fly-aways, fighting the effects of humidity) before taking your picture, so please bring any hair grooming implements you might need for final touches before you're in front of our camera.

For long-haired girls, we suggest wearing hair down, as ponytails and messy buns do not photograph as well as loose hair, and tend to get more messy throughout the day. Hair bows and accessories should be smaller in size as to not distract from your face. And don't forget to brush your teeth!

Choose Your Yearbook Photo!

About 3 - 4 weeks after Picture Day, your Fall Portraits will be uploaded to our website in a password-protected gallery for viewing and ordering. This is also where you get to choose your Yearbook photo. If you do not choose your photo by the date indicated on the emails, one will be chosen for you.

Passcodes and proofing information will be sent through the school, but our Newsletter Subscribers will get notified first!

Make Ups and Retakes

At Lot Five Studios, your satisfaction is always our goal. If you missed your picture day, or you'd like to get a retake for any reason, please sign up for Retake Day on--NOVEMBER 2nd.

Please send us a retake request by clicking the button below. This will ensure that you will get pulled from class, and it will also let us know how we can do better and improve your Yearbook photo. There is a $5 fee to retake photos.

For Seniors

Seniors will NOT be photographed during Fall Portrait Days. All Senior yearbook photos will be taken in cap and gown during our Senior Portrait weekends held at our studio in the Arts District. To learn more about CVHS Senior Portraits this year, please click below!

How We Work

Everything You Need to Know About Fall Portraits

1. We photograph students, faculty and staff on Fall Picture Days--9/21 & 9/22.

2. Give us about 2-4 weeks to process the images and get them ready for viewing.

3. When the images are uploaded and ready to go, we will send information to the school telling students and parents on how to access their student galleries, including passcodes, and ordering instructions. If you are a newsletter subscriber, you get to know before everyone else does (perks, yay!).

4. Log in and select your Yearbook photos! Or request a retake if you are unsatisfied with your image--Retake day is NOVEMBER 2nd.

5. Place an order by the deadline date please.

6. If you missed the ordering deadline, don't worry--your images will still be available for purchase, however you will have to may have to pay a shipping fee and your order will be sent directly to you.

A Few Final Notes:

RETAKES will be offered for Fall Portraits on NOVEMBER 2, 2022. To receive notices regarding fall pictures and retakes, sign up for the CVHS School Picture Newsletter below! If you have already been photographed, the new image will be uploaded in to the same gallery as your original photos within 3 weeks of the retake date. Your retake order may may incur additional shipping fees.

Ordering Online. It's our thing. There will be cut-off date for orders to be delivered free to the school, so please keep your eyes peeled for deadlines. After the deadline, you can still order, but you may have to pay a shipping fee, and we don't offer as many cool packages or products as the ones we deliver to the school. Please expect up to 4 weeks after deadline for order delivery.

You are a Star. We'd love to use your photo! At Lot Five Studios, we are always looking for smiling students to use as our models. If you are interested in allowing your school photo to serve as one of the faces for our school-specific marketing pieces, please make sure to read the info at the end of your online order before checkout. If you are under 18, please ask your parents. If you do not wish for your image to be used, please read the info and let us know. Don't worry, we never use any identifying information about students--just your awesome image.

Family Portraits, Headshots and Other Good Stuff. If you are in need of family portraits, corporate headshots, sports portraits, or Senior photos, please subscribe to our newsletter below or request a session! We offer quick and modern photography sessions during our "Open Studio Days" in our nearby studio, located in the Arts District off Sawyer and I-10.
